Singer / Songwriter
Candace Hastings is an Americana singer-songwriter, both Indigenous and cowgirl, whose small songs about big things blend rough-cut beauty, sharp observation, and a lifelong search for hope and home. Adopted, and often on the outside looking in, she learned to study the world from the edges, capturing in words what people carry. Her upcoming album, Soft Place to Land, will be released in summer 2026. She can be found swapping songs and singing stories throughout the Texas Hill Country and beyond.

"Texan artist, songwriter, and cowgirl Candace Hastings has brought us her new song, 'Loving Cowboys,' today as well. It’s a song about being left behind by the person you love, watching the dust kick up from their truck tires as they head off to make their living. Jazzy and swinging, it’s country steeped in the '& western' most of the genre has long since dropped, but Texas keeps well alive for all of us to enjoy."
